Brett Davis

J. Brett Davis was born in San Diego, California while his father served in the United States Navy. He grew up in southern Ohio and attended undergraduate school at Ohio University, where he studied Political Science. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Law. In addition to his law school training, Brett has studied abroad at the University of Wales in Swansea, Wales and Oxford University. He has previously practiced in Ironton, Ohio with McCown & Davis, LPA, where he spent his last two years as a partner. There, Brett focused his practice on civil litigation and criminal defense.

While practicing in North Carolina, Brett has focused his practice on civil litigation by representing injured people in a variety of contexts, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence. Brett is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the North Carolina and Wake County Bar Associations. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, the State of North Carolina, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the Southern District of Ohio. A former ski instructor, he still enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and kayaking in his leisure time.
